Is there a registration fee and minimum fundraising ask to participate?Each swimmer is required to pay a $150 registration fee and there is a suggested fundraising goal of $2,000 to help reach this year’s target of $100,000.

Who will be the beneficiary of this year’s Alcatraz Swim for Sight?All funds raised in this year’s swim will be given to All May See Foundation, which is the fundraising arm of UCSF Ophthalmology Department. Each dollar will support the doctors’ research to help identify treatments and cures for blindness.

We are using their not-for-profit platform to collect funds and register swimmers. All donations are going directly to All May See Foundation.
